Colleges With a 100% Acceptance Rate

Some colleges report admitting 100% of applicants, and many more have open admission, meaning anyone with a high school diploma or equivalent can enroll. A 100% rate describes last year's applicants, not a promise for yours, and individual programs can still be selective.

Note: Open admission means the school admits students with a high school diploma or equivalent; some programs (e.g., nursing, engineering) have extra requirements. Check the school's admissions page.

What does a 100% acceptance rate mean?

It means every applicant who completed an application in the reporting year was admitted. Schools with small or self-selecting applicant pools sometimes reach 100% even without a formal open-admission policy.

Is 100% acceptance the same as open admission?

Not exactly. Open admission is a policy: the school admits anyone who meets a basic requirement, usually a diploma or GED. A 100% rate is a result. Many open-admission schools do not report an acceptance rate at all, so the finder includes both.

Schools that reported a 100% acceptance rate

Schools whose most recent reported admission rate was 100%, with 300+ undergraduates, largest first. Including open-admission schools, 1,415 schools nationwide admit everyone or nearly everyone who qualifies.

Are 100% acceptance colleges any good?

Quality varies widely. Some are respected public and private colleges; others have low graduation rates. Compare graduation rate, median earnings and net price before you decide.

Do I still need to apply?

Yes. You still submit an application, transcripts and sometimes placement tests. Deadlines and program limits still apply, so apply early.

Frequently asked questions

Which colleges have a 100% acceptance rate?

The list above shows schools that reported admitting all applicants in the latest College Scorecard data. Use the finder to add open-admission schools and filter by state.

Can I get rejected from a 100% acceptance college?

It is possible. Rates change each year, and you must still meet basic requirements such as a diploma. Some programs inside the school are selective.

Do 100% acceptance colleges offer financial aid?

Most accredited schools in this data take part in federal aid. Fill out the FAFSA and check each school's net price.

Is a 100% acceptance rate a red flag?

Not by itself. Look at outcomes: graduation rate and earnings tell you more about a school than how many people it admits.

Why does a school show "Not reported"?

Many open-admission schools do not report an admission rate because they do not select students. The finder labels them as open admission instead.
